Vestas has confirmed an order for turbines from DIF Capital Partners totaling 108 MW for four wind farms in Poland.

The four projects are 70MW Pruszcz and 26MW Markowice located in Kujawsko-Pomorskie, and 8MW Piaski and 4MW Wyszki located in Wielkopolskie.

Vestas will supply and install 52 V100-2.0MW turbines, as well as two V90-2.0MW machines.

Deliveries of all four projects are expected to begin this year, while commissioning of all projects will be completed by the end of 2022.

Vestas will provide services for the projects under 20-year 4000 active production management service agreements.

Richard Baylis, Vice President of Sales and Business Development of Vestas Northern & Central Europe, said: “We are delighted to partner with DIF Capital Partners for their next four projects in Poland and to continue to ensure the transition to an energy own wind turbine for Poland.

“The turbines on the 2 MW platform are a perfect match for these four projects, and Vestas is delighted to build on the 2.6 GW of installed capacity we already have in Poland. With onshore wind securing Poland’s just transition and offshore wind ahead, Vestas is well positioned to provide support.
