Actions of Energy of Domination (NYSE: D) remained unchanged after the company’s second quarter earnings release.

Quarterly results

Earnings per share fell 7.32% year-over-year to $ 0.76, which missed the estimate of $ 0.77.

Revenue of $ 3,038,000,000 was down 15.26% from the same period last year, which fell short of the estimate of $ 3,760,000,000.

Advice

Q3 EPS is expected to be between $ 0.95 and $ 1.10.

Company Profile

Based in Richmond, Virginia, Dominion Energy is an integrated energy company with approximately 30 gigawatts of power generation capacity and over 93,000 miles of power transmission and distribution lines. In 2019, Dominion completed a liquefied natural gas export facility in Maryland and is now starting a 5.2 GW wind farm 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach. The wind farm is said to be one of the largest in the United States
