(USDA / FSA / October 27, 2021) – This natural disaster secretariat designation allows the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural service agency (FSA) to provide essential emergency credit to producers recovering from natural disasters through emergency loans. Emergency loans can be used to meet a variety of recovery needs, including replacing essential items such as equipment or livestock, reorganizing a farm, or refinancing certain debts. FSA will review loans based on the extent of losses, available collateral, and repayment capacity.

Registration deadline: June 20, 2022
