Clean energy is not the answer

The big push by President Biden and the left is on climate change. Of course, there is climate change, but to say that the science is absolute and that there should be no more discussion or questions is absurd. If this were true, then we would still think that the sun revolves around the Earth. The question: is it natural, artificial or both? Especially the latter.
I think most of the people in Biden think the sun is spinning around them.
Biden has proposed a $ 2 trillion infrastructure bill that is primarily a socialist wishlist favored by his regressive base. Yes, roads, bridges, water and sewer systems, as well as railways and public transport, all need to be repaired.
Part of his bill is pushing “clean†electric vehicles. A recent Tesla electric autonomous car crash shows the danger of this idea. Using self-driving cars is just plain stupid. The serious problem is with lithium batteries. The car caught fire and it took the firefighters four hours and 30,000 gallons of water to extinguish it. The car had 1,200 pounds of batteries. Imagine a 20 car crash with 24,000 pounds of batteries in those cars. This would create a miniature version of WWII in Dresden, Germany’s firestorm.
Most lithium batteries are made in China. US-made batteries are manufactured by Chinese, Japanese, and Korean companies. All the material is imported.
Biden promised that all of the infrastructure hardware used would be made in the United States. The question is how, since his agenda is to shut down the fossil fuel industry. He immediately shut down the Keystone pipeline, leaving 11,000 construction workers unemployed and destroying the local economy.
John Kerry said they could be trained to make clean energy solar panels. Since 90 percent of solar panels are made in China, perhaps he could use his wife’s private jet to fly them to China for high-paying jobs, around 6,500 yuan ($ 3.60) per hour.
Coal is fired to make coke to be mixed with iron ore to make steel. Takes a lot of energy to produce. Find out how much steel, plastic and other materials are used in your electric, gasoline, diesel or hydrogen vehicle.
Biden and environmentalists are pushing clean energy from wind turbines and solar panels. When they work, they produce clean electrical energy, but are they really clean? If only turbines are used, an estimated 126 million would be needed to power the United States. Using a combination of grandstands and solar power would still require a lot of space.
A turbine is made up of 71-79% steel, plastic, iron, copper, and aluminum, along with tons of concrete for the base. That alone takes a lot of energy and will cause a lot of pollution just to do. Other problems with these systems are that they do not work well when the wind is not blowing, there is no sun, or they are covered with ice or snow.
Without fossil fuels, there would be no more steel, gasoline, propane, asphalt, grill briquettes or over 6,000 items made from petroleum. Just ask VP Harris what her perfume, shampoo and synthetic Asian designer clothes are made of. Answer: oil. His answer would probably be laughs.
The big question for our leaders is where will all the equipment for cars, trucks, farm equipment, construction equipment, military equipment, jet fuel and infrastructure come from?
Their answer would evade the question by saying, “We are going to create hundreds of clean, well-paying jobs.” In fact, there are no specific jobs. Everything that is produced requires energy, material and causes pollution.
The real answer comes from China, India, Africa and countries in the Middle East. We would again be at the mercy of these countries.
There are already around 11 million well-paying jobs in fossil fuels and related industries. Biden’s regressions would destroy all of that.
Governor Andrew Cuomo has allocated $ 2 billion in public money to pay illegal immigrants. A slap in the face to citizens and legal immigrants. What part of the illegal don’t you understand?
Think about the number of miles of roads that could be repaved with that money.
Final thought: imagine a Chinese steel US Army Abrams main battle tank running on “clean” lithium batteries or “clean” hydrogen? An incendiary bullet and ottoman.
It’s silly, but it’s still what you’d get if these fossil fuel eliminators were successful.
